Opt out a contact from messages

The best way to exclude a contact from receiving SMS reminders is to control which calendars your message templates apply to.

Set your template to only trigger on specific calendars using the calendar filter. Then, when you have a meeting where you don't want a contact to receive an SMS, schedule it on a calendar that isn't linked to any message template.
