Purchasing a phone number will allow you to send from a specific number and forward replies from your messages to your primary phone number. By default, everyone is assigned to a "communal" number that is used for sending, but cannot receive replies. You can purchase a phone number in a specific location so that you are texting from a local number for your contacts. Purchased phone numbers can be applied to any of your team members.
Step 1: Go to your team page
Step 2: Click on the dropdown for one of your users
Step 3: Click on "manage numbers for your account"
Step 4: Select the team member phone dropdown
Step 5: Click on "Buy Unique Numbers"
Step 6: Select a number to buy
Step 7: Confirm purchase
Step 8: Assign the number to a contact by clicking on the dropdown next to the user and select the newly purchased phone number
Step 8: Save changes
