Connect your own Twilio

Warning: Connecting Twilio will release all numbers currently provisioned to your Aardvark account.

To set up Twilio, go to your billing page.

Once there, select the Twilio button. You will see a dialogue to connect your API keys and tokens.

You can go directly to this page to set up your API key and view your secret. Select "create API key" if you do not already have one set up. https://console.twilio.com/us1/account/keys-credentials/api-keys

Paste in your Account SID, API key SID and API key secret into Aardvark. Your account SID can be found here: https://console.twilio.com/us1/account/manage-account/general-settings

You will also need to make sure to have a phone number on the account. Click the "get phone number" button in your Twilio account dashboard if you do not already have phone numbers.

Go to your team page and select "manage numbers for your account"

Next, click "connect numbers".

Select the numbers you want to bring into Aardvark.

Once connected, select the dropdown next to the contacts you want to assign your phone numbers to

After you connect your Twilio account you will need to purchase numbers directly from Twilio and keep your Twilio account funded in order to send messages. Aardvark will no longer manager that process for you (saving you money!).
